OTTAWA – Ottawa and all of Ontario are now in Stage 3 of the Roadmap plan to reopen Ontario, allowing theaters, museums and gymnasiums to reopen.
Indoor gatherings of 25 people and outdoor gatherings of 100 people are now permitted.

CANADIAN MUSEUM OF HISTORY

MUSIC ON THE CHANNEL
Enjoy the vibrant game of Fiesta Cubana or NAC Orchestra Brass Ensembles as they float along the Rideau Canal on Saturday.
The concert will begin at Paul’s Boat Line docks located on the Rideau Canal outside the NAC, and arrive at Dows Lake approximately 45 minutes later, then return.
The concert starts at 4.30 p.m. on Saturday.
You can cool off on the beaches and water jets in Ottawa and Gatineau.
In Ottawa, lifeguards are open daily on Ottawa’s four public beaches from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. Public beaches are located at Mooney’s Bay, Westboro, Britannia and Petrie Island.
Splash Pads are also open daily in Ottawa.
In Gatineau Park, the NCC indicates that lifeguards are on duty from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. every day at Meech Lake, Philippe Lake and La Pêche Lake.
Lifeguards are on duty every day from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Lac Leamy.
Gatineau’s beaches at Parc du Lac-Beauchamp, Parc Moussette and Parc des Cèdres are also open every day, with lifeguards on duty.
Interzip Rogers is open every day, allowing you to zip-line between Gatineau and Ottawa.
The world’s first interprovincial zipline, located in Zibi, is open until October 1.

CCN WEEKEND BIKE DAYS
The National Capital Commission opens the parkways for active transportation every weekend until October.
Cyclists, runners, walkers and other active transportation users can use the rides on Saturdays and Sundays until October 11.
Sir John A. Macdonald Walk (9 km): 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. (Canada Day, Saturday and Sunday)
The two westbound lanes of Sir John A. Macdonald Parkway, located on the south side of the Ottawa River, just west of downtown, from Vimy Place to Carling Avenue.
Promenade Sir-George-Étienne Cartier (8 kilometers): 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.(Canada Day, Saturday and Sunday)
The two lanes of Promenade Sir-George-Étienne Cartier run along the south shore of the Ottawa River, just east of downtown, between Promenade de l’Aviation and Boulevard Saint-Joseph in Orléans.
THE TRAILS OF THE GATINEAU PARK
The National Capital Commission reserves the parkways in Gatineau Park for active use most of the time in 2021. Motor vehicle access will be permitted on the parkways in Gatineau Park on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays after 13 h.

The National Capital Commission will open a section of Colonel By Drive for active transportation this summer.
Colonel By Drive will be closed to vehicles daily until September 6 from Daly Avenue to Canal Woods Terrance.
